In addition to its formal governance processes, Mount Allison also regularly establishes groups or review processes to address specific issues, tasks, or needs.
These groups may take the form of advisory committees, working groups, or task forces and their work may be either one-time or on an ongoing basis.

- President's Budget Advisory Committee
The Budget Advisory Committee reviews and provides advice to the President on the annual operating budget.
