Getting here

By car

Travelling east from Moncton on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 2)

  • Take exit 504 to Sackville
  • At the stop sign, turn right onto Main Street
  • Continue through traffic lights on Main Street until you come to a ‘Y’ intersection

Travelling west from Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 2)  

  • Take exit 504 to Sackville
  • At the stop sign, turn left onto Main Street
  • Continue through traffic lights on Main Street until you come to a ‘Y’ intersection

At the ‘Y’ intersection:

Take Salem Street, which veers to the right and up the hill, to get to:

  • Wallace McCain Student Centre (left onto York Street)
  • Owens Art Gallery (left onto York Street)
  • Convocation Hall (left onto York Street)
  • Athletic Centre (left onto York Street)
  • Ralph Pickard Bell Library (left onto York Street)
  • Bennett, Bigelow, Hunton, Thornton, and Edwards houses (on Salem)
  • Gemini Observatory (right onto York Street)
  • Bermuda House (right onto York Street)

Take Main Street, which veers to the left, to get to:

  • Campbell, Windsor, and Harper Halls
  • Jennings Dining Hall
  • Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music
By bus

Maritime Bus offers service throughout the Maritimes, as well as into Maine and Quebec, with connections to further destinations in Canada and the U.S.

The bus drops off and picks up passengers in Sackville at 211 Main St.

By rail

Through Via Rail, The Ocean route travels between Montreal and Halifax, with stops in Moncton, NB and Amherst, NS.

By air

The Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport is a 30-minute drive from Sackville. There are a number of departures and arrivals each day from key Canadian cities, including Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, and Ottawa.

International travellers may also want to consider the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. A two-hour drive from Sackville, the airport serves a greater number of Canadian and international destinations.
