Course registration deadlines

January 7, 2026	Winter term classes begin
January 16, 2026	Last day for registration in: 3-credit winter term courses End of withdrawal period for: year-long 1, 3, and 6 credit courses Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
Feb. 16-20, 2026	Winter study break - no classes
February 27, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for 3-credit winter term courses: Any student who does not withdraw from these courses by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
April 13-22, 2026	Final exam period
May 4, 2026	Spring/Summer term classes begin
May 8, 2026	Last day for registration in spring/summer term courses
May 12-15, 2026	Registration for 26/FW opens for returning students
May 29, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for: 3-credit spring term courses running 7-weeks (courses with section Z) Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class by this deadline
June 1, 2026	Registration for 26/FW opens for new incoming students
June 26, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for: 3-credit summer term courses running May through August (courses with section X) Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class by this deadline
August 23, 2026	Last day for registration in A-Term courses
August 24, 2026	A-Term courses begin
August 25, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for one-week A-Term courses
August 28, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for two-week A-Term courses
September 8, 2026	Fall term classes begin
September 18, 2026	Last day for registration in: 3-credit fall term courses year-long 1, 3, and 6 credit courses
October 12-16, 2026	Fall study break - no classes
October 30, 2026	End of academic withdrawal period for 3-credit fall term courses: Any student who does not withdraw from these courses by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
December 11-21, 2026	Final exam period

Feb. 5, 2026	Deadline for returning students to apply to transfer to the BFA program for the 2026-2027 academic year
Aug. 28, 2026	Deadline for October 2026 Graduation Application
Oct. 2, 2026	Deadline for May 2027 Graduation Application
Feb. 4, 2027	Deadline for returning students to apply to transfer to the BFA program for the 2027-2028 academic year
