Rivers Corbett (Entrepreneur-in-Residence)
As Mount Allison’s first Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Corbett ('85) will meet regularly with students, guiding them in business plan development and implementation of business and social enterprise ideas. He will also lead workshops and guest lectures for the wider student body.

“To combine my love and journey of entrepreneurship with the Mount Allison community that holds so much in my heart, is a true blessing as part of the next stage of my career. Entrepreneurship fuels so much of the foundation that makes the world go around,” says Corbett. “I am looking forward to working with Mt.A students to help guide them in making impactful decisions in their journey as entrepreneurs.”
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence, virtually housed in the University’s Office of Experiential Learning and Career Development, is part of Venture Space MtA Entrepreneurial Thinking Incubator, a new online initiative for entrepreneurial-minded students to access training modules, funding opportunities. The project is supported by TD Ready Commitment.
