Current Student Moodle Page

For current students

The Student Success Guide Moodle page serves as a centralized resource hub where students can learn more about the many resources and opportunities available at Mount Allison. Whether you’re looking for information on academic supports, financial aid, clubs and societies, exchange programs, and much more, this page is designed to help you navigate campus life easily.

In addition to being an information hub, the Moodle page offers a space to ask questions, receive important announcements, and connect with other students. Under the tile labelled “Student Groups,” you can also self-select into groups to communicate with other students who share similar interests or experiences.

The Student Success Guides will actively monitor the Moodle page and group spaces to ensure questions and concerns are addressed and to help maintain a respectful and supportive environment for all students.

First-Year Transition Program

For new students

Student Success Guides have launched a new First-Year Transition (FYT) Program to help incoming students feel informed, connected, and prepared before arriving on campus.

Beginning in June, incoming students will gain access to a series of self-paced Moodle modules developed by Student Success Guides Jacob McKiel, Kevinique Stubbs, and Manley Liu in collaboration with campus departments and support services.

Throughout the summer, students will explore topics such as academic success, wellness, residence and community living, campus resources, student employment, clubs and athletics, financial support, and preparing for Orientation Week. Modules include short videos featuring staff and services across campus, along with additional resources for students who wish to learn more.

The program is designed to help students build confidence, become familiar with university life, and connect with the many supports and communities available at Mount Allison before arriving in Sackville.

Topics include:

  • University welcome and academic planning
  • Student communities and support services
  • Residence and off-campus living
  • Wellness, safety, and community standards
  • Academic success and integrity
  • Employment, career, and study abroad opportunities
  • Library and learning resources
  • Clubs, societies, athletics, and extracurricular involvement
  • Orientation Week and getting to know Sackville

The First-Year Transition Program launches on Moodle each June.
