Students have the convenience of making payments online, in-person, or by mail.

You can make payments like registration and housing deposits, tuition, residence, meal plans, and all other payments.

Online banking

Internet banking payments can be made through major Canadian banks as a bill payment.

We do not accept e-transfers as a method of payment. Visa Debit cards do not work for online payments.

Step 1: Add MtA as a payee

Add Mount Allison (MTA) as a payee. For most banks, you can create a new payee under bill payments. Once created, it will be saved in your list of payees.

Step 2: Select the type of payment

When you search for Mount Allison University, you will have three options for payment:

  • Mount Allison University Registration Deposit
    To pay your registration deposit.
  • Mount Allison University Housing Deposit
    To pay your residence deposit.
  • Mount Allison University Fees — Other
    To pay your tuition, residence, meal plan and all other payments.

Students can see how much they owe in Connect > Account Statements. Account statements are updated in late August for fall term, and late December for winter term. 

Step 3: Enter your account number

Use your Mount Allison student ID number for the account number. Find your student ID number in Connect > My Profile.

If your bank is not listed, please contact them directly to see if they can help you make an online payment to Mount Allison.

If you do not currently do your banking online, please speak with a representative at the bank about registering for this service.

Cheque

Make cheques payable to "Mount Allison University" and mail to:

Cheques may also be deposited in the drop box located outside the registrar's office on the second floor of the Wallace McCain Student Centre, 62 York St.

Cash or debit

Pay your fees with cash or debit at the registrar's office located on the second floor of the Wallace McCain Student Centre, 62 York Street, Sackville.

Bank transfer — for international students

International students may choose to pay their fees by wire transfer payment through Flywire.

HigherEdPoints.com program

Students can now fund school fees by converting Aeroplan® Miles through HigherEdPoints.com. 35,000 Aeroplan® Miles can be converted into $250 worth of credits at Mount Allison.

Students can also convert the Aeroplan® Miles of family members and friends to help pay for school. Anyone can donate their points to an individual student or directly to Mount Allison for students in need.
