Mount Allison University’s holiday break is from end-of-business day Thursday, Dec. 22 to Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. All University offices will be closed during this time. Various services close earlier and open later, so please check the schedule below.

Regular office hours resume on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. All classes will begin Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

A reminder that existing COVID-19 health and safety measures will remain in place on campus throughout the Winter 2023 Term, including indoor masking.

• Last 2022 Meal Service is Wednesday, Dec. 21 (Hot breakfast, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
• Jennings will reopen on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 (11:15 a.m.–8 p.m.) and Sunday, Jan. 8 (8 a.m.–8 p.m.).
• Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

Gracie’s Café

• Regular hours from Monday to Friday during exams; open 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 10 and 17.
• Last 2022 service is Saturday, Dec. 17.
• Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

Flying Bean

• Regular hours, last service day is Sunday, Dec. 18.
• The Bean reopens regular hours Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

Athletic Centre and Fitness Centre
(located in the Wallace McCain Student Centre)

AC Renovation work — Dec. 2022
As the Athletic Centre gym renovation moves forward, electrical work needs to be undertaken and this will have an impact on the usual operations of the Athletic Centre. The dates and disruptions are as follows:

• Dec. 7 – Pool closed until 2 p.m.
• Dec. 8 – Pool closed until 8 a.m., impact to heat pumps in offices
• Dec. 9 – Pool closed until 2 p.m.
• Dec. 12 – Entire Athletics Centre will be closed until 12 p.m.
• Dec. 13 – No power in lower level of AC until 9 a.m.
• Dec. 14 – AC closed until 2 p.m.
• Dec. 16 – AC closed until 12 p.m. 

Holiday Break

• Fitness Centre closed from Dec. 21 to Jan. 3
• Athletic Centre closed from Dec. 22 at 12 p.m. to Jan. 3
