Position description
The Department of Classics at Mount Allison University invites applications for a stipendiary appointment to teach the following course during the Winter term of the 2026–2027 academic year:
LATI 1101: Introductory Latin II
Preference will be given to applicants who:
Are available to teach the course in person;
Hold a PhD in Classics or a closely related field;
Have prior university-level teaching experience.
The course involves three hours of in-person instruction per week. While in-person teaching is preferred, the university may consider offering this course online if necessary. The anticipated enrolment is between 10 and 15 students. The successful candidate will receive a stipend of $8,490 for the term of the appointment.
