Position description

The Graduate Studies Program at Mount Allison University invites applications to teach a graduate level course in Professional Development for current MSc Biology and Chemistry students in the Fall 2024 term. Course topics might include leadership skills, scientific communication, project and data management, scientific writing and publishing, integrity and EDI in research, grant writing skills or other professional skills. This is a stipendiary (part-time) appointment. The course format will be in-person and will be a 3 credit hour course spanning 13 weeks that will serve approximately 10 MSc candidates in the Masters of Biology and Masters of Chemistry program at Mount Allison as part of their required course work.

Mount Allison University, located in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada is a small primarily undergraduate university offering small classes to a diverse student population.  It is consistently ranked as one of the best undergraduate universities in Canada and promotes research and teaching excellence.
