Biography
Dr. Liambou was trained at the École Normale Supérieure (Higher Teacher Training College) of Brazzaville, the ex-Higher Teacher Training College of Central Africa, where he completed his Secondary School Teacher Diploma before traveling to France where he studied French language and literature. After being sent as a Lecturer at Hartwick College, Oneonta New York, he realized the importance of didactics to teach French to students whose first language is English, then decided to complete a master’s program on French Second Language while writing his doctorate in comparative literature. In 2009 Dr. Liambou was selected again by the University of Nice to come to Canada to teach French Labs and conversation at Western University. Once there, he decided to stay in Canada, teaching in High Schools in London Ontario before returning to Western University where he taught until he joined Mount Allison in 2024.
