Research

As an industrial and organizational psychologist, I have three lines of research. The first one focuses on the work-family interface, which investigates the topics of work-family conflict, employed parents, and well-being at the workplace. The question of “how workplaces can be improved in order to promote employee well-being” is one of the focuses of those studies. The second line of research focuses on personality. I have series of studies which focus on individual differences in the workplace and how personality predicts various organizational outcomes. Recently I also focus on the Dark Triads such as Narcissism, Machiavellism, and Psychopath. Finally, my third line of research focuses on person environment fit in the workplace. I focus on especially organizational predictors of fit. I study related topics such as job satisfaction, turnover intentions, stress and well-being.
