University to be closed for day of reflection, Sept. 30

SACKVILLE, NB — Mount Allison University will hold a series of educational activities and initiatives leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

“Students and staff, as well as community members have brought together a super line-up of events and opportunities to mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at Mount Allison and in the wider community,” says Patty Musgrave-Quinn, Indigenous Affairs Co-ordinator at Mount Allison University. “Along with taking time for reflection, it’s important for everyone to learn more about this part of Canada’s history and take action toward reconciliation.”

The University will be closed on Friday, Sept. 30 for a day of reflection. University offices will be closed and no classes or events will be held.
