This week, the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in Iran took the lives of 176 people.

This has been felt deeply within the Canadian university and college communities, through the loss of a number of students and colleagues. Though no Mount Allison students, faculty, or staff were aboard the plane, many of us may have family, friends, and colleagues who have been more directly impacted.

As a community, we offer our condolences and deepest sympathies to families, friends, as well as our colleagues and students on campuses across Canada.

The University flag has been lowered to half-staff and will be throughout the weekend to honour those killed in the plane crash.
