Position description
The Department of Geography and Environment at Mount Allison University invites applications for a stipendiary (part-time) teaching position to teach “Weather and Climate” (GENS 2421), a 2nd year undergraduate course. This course highlights elements of weather and climate including the composition and thermal structure of the atmosphere, radiation and energy balances, global circulation, air masses, fronts and atmospheric disturbances, and climates of the world. It places special emphasis on recent climatic changes in the environment. The class is scheduled for the 2026 spring/summer term (May-June). The course is listed as in-person on campus and includes a lab, schedule TBA.
The successful applicant will have a PhD (or ABD) and expertise relating to themes common to the interdisciplinary study of natural resources management.
