Position description
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to shaping its structure and content in collaboration with the Director of Drama & Screen Studies. This includes bringing innovative and resourceful approaches to teaching filmmaking with minimal gear. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a foundational course in applied screen production within a liberal arts context.
Applicants should have a Master’s degree (MFA or MA) in filmmaking, screen production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. They should be familiar with standard tools and software (e.g. DSLRs, smartphones, iMovie and DaVinci Resolve). Experience teaching or mentoring students in studio at the post-secondary level is an asset (particularly within an undergraduate liberal arts context).
