Position description
The Drama & Screen Studies Program at Mount Allison University invites applications for a part-time stipendiary position to teach DRAM 3161: Theatre Design on campus in the fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year. Anticipated class size is 20 students. This course introduces students to the means by which dramatic texts in performance are supported by aspects of theatre design, and explores general elements of set design, costume design, scenic painting, properties, masks, makeup, and historical research in support of theatre design and scenography. Applicants should have an MFA degree in Theatre Design or an equivalent combination of certification and experience. Teaching experience at the university level would be an asset.
