Position description
Reporting to the First-Generation Program Coordinator, the First-Generation Post-graduate Intern will develop and deliver first generation and low-income student programming. Working closely with other Student Affairs departments and academic faculty, the Post-graduate Intern will support existing programming, including the MtA Food Pantry, the Dress to Impress Professional Closet, and First Gen student outreach. This position pays $19.55/hr for 35 hours/week, and runs from August 25, 2025, to April 24, 2026. This is a hybrid position.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily administration of the MtA Food Pantry.
- Assist with the daily administration of the Dress to Impress Professional Closet.
- Support First Gen student outreach initiatives.
- Collect and analyze program data, and report on programming goals, achievements, and recommendations.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications/skills
- Recently graduated (ideally within the past 3 years) first-generation Mount Allison University student.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Experience in data collection and analysis.
