12.1.2 Declaration of Major, Minor, Honours
B.A. and B.Sc. students, in consultation with the
designated Program Advisor, must formally declare a Major and a Minor
by the end of the academic session in which they
will have achieved third year standing or upon completion of 54 credits
.
Students should refer to the specific program requirements of their intended Major or Minor.
Those opting to
do a Double Major or Triple Minor must, in consultation with the
designated Program Advisor, declare their intention
by the end of the
academic session in which they will have achieved third year standing or upon completion
of 54 credits
.
Students can change their choice of program
after further consultation with a Program Advisor. A
'Declaration/Change of Major/Minor' form is available on the Registrar's Office web page.
Those opting to do an Honours Program must declare their
intention by
December of the year in which they are registered with third year
standing
by completing a 'Declaration of
Intention to Pursue Honours' form available on the web.
Students must consult with the Department Head or
Program Co-ordinator with respect to application processes and
admission criteria.
