Robert de la Chevotière (’00) published two books, We Were Not Kings (Little A) and Tall Is Her Body (Erewhon Books). Tall Is Her Body was shortlisted for the OCM Bocas Prize in Caribbean Literature, and We Were Not Kings has been shortlisted for the Dartmouth Book Award in Fiction and for the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Book Award for Fiction.

Author and MtA alumnus Hal Giddens ('58) published a new crime novella, Agent of the County. Set in rural Nova Scotia, the story follows RCMP Agent Aub Gibbs as he returns to his hometown to investigate suspected criminal activity that soon leads to a series of mysterious deaths, disappearances, and an international crime connection.
