Homecoming 2025

A historic weekend at Mount Allison, Sept. 12-14, 2025

From Friday’s pep rally and inaugural Health and Wellness Speaker Series with Scott McCain (’78) and Leslie McLean (’81) to the Myranda Weild Memorial Soccer Game to the official jersey retirement of Gary Ross’s (’10) #80 from Mounties Football, Homecoming was an easy reminder of why it’s so special to be part of Mount Allison. The stands were brimming with spectators for Saturday’s football game, though the result was a tough loss to Acadia.

The Soccer Mounties welcomed friends, family, and alumni back for their annual Myranda Weild Memorial game, played on a perfect, sunny Saturday morning. Alumni with decades of experience met first-year students brand new to campus. Dignitaries sat among students to listen to Scott McCain and Leslie McLean reminisce on their time at Mount Allison.

Football legends Éric Lapointe (’99) and Grant Keaney (’92) also returned to Alumni Field with their families for the first time in many years and were honoured alongside Gary Ross (’10) at a memorable dinner in Tweedie Hall.

Weekends like Homecoming remind us all that this place will always be a second home, no matter where life takes us. We hope to see you next year!
