1970s

1980s
By chance last month two Mount Allison graduates were sitting at tables next to each other in a restaurant in Cape town, South Africa, got talking and found we were both alumnus graduates of Mount Allison. (L–R) Catherine McCrea Yee (‘81), Honours Chemistry currently a dermatologist. Elizabeth Douglas (‘88), Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Kingston, Jamaica recently retired web developer.
David James Cronkite (‘86) is living in Kanata, ON and recently married to his amazing wife from Peru. He has two adult children, is teaching drums from his home, and has drummed and sang in three Beatles bands in Ottawa, ON.
2010s
Renée Belliveau (’17) has recently released her second novel, A Sense of Things Beyond. Her first novel, The Sound of Fire, is based on the true story of the devastating fire at Mount Allison in 1941. This new novel tells the story of the post First World War lives of Rose and Frederick, whose very different paths eventually cross at a time when they are both trying to navigate a new and different world. Might they find solace in each other?
Manley Liu (‘21) and Shannon Robinson (‘19) celebrated their marriage this July! The pair had met as students, and both currently work for MtA, so it was only fitting that their wedding take place on campus.
