The McKenna Scholars program was launched in 2021 to support high achieving students in the Frank McKenna School of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics

Other updates from the McKenna School

  • Graduating student Martha Pitre ('22) received a prestigious McCall MacBain Scholarship, which fully funds master's degrees at McGill University. Pitre was one of 20 recipients chosen from 700 applicants from across the country.
  • Five new scholarships, named in honour of business and community leaders, were established by the John and Judy Bragg Foundation.

"I chose the PPE program at Mount Allison because it allows me to focus on a variety of different topics, and not just one. This interdisciplinary method of learning is personally much more engaging as it allows me to analyze the same topic from a philosophical, political, and economic perspective."  - Oliver Batchilder, inaugural recipient of the Ivan Duvar Scholarship
