The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures and the Visual and Material Culture Studies Program at Mount Allison University invite applications for a stipendiary (part-time) appointment to teach online a cross-listed course, SPAN 1821 / VMCS 1821 Spain: A Mosaic of Cultures in the Fall 2022 semester, tentatively scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-3:50 pm Atlantic Time. The anticipated class size is 80-100 students.

A PhD in Hispanic Studies or equivalent degree is expected. Interested applicants should send a curriculum vitae and a letter that outlines their experience for the position and how they envision teaching the course. Applicants should comment on how they plan to ensure that the course is taught through the prism of visual and material culture.
