Position description
The Music Department at Mount Allison University invites applications for the position of instructor in Oboe. This is a stipendiary (part-time) appointment. Preference will be given to applicants with degrees and/or diplomas in oboe performance, an established record as a performer, and studio teaching experience at the university level.
Teaching responsibilities include weekly studio instruction in oboe of up to 1 student (MUSC 1501–2511), approximately 1 hour per student per week plus studio class, overseeing student performance preparation, and assessing performance juries associated with these students.
These courses run for both Fall and Winter semesters: September 2024 to April 2025 and will be taught on the campus of Mount Allison University.
