July 6 to 12, 2025
Join us for a week-long intensive program for dedicated pianists, singers, and string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists, ages 14 to 19. Mount Allison’s Summer Academy of Music combines private instruction, chamber music, public performance, courses, and social activities for a week of inspiring music-making! Monday through Friday, Academy participants will enjoy a full schedule of activities at the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music on the beautiful Mount Allison campus.
Participants will receive private lessons and master classes with Mount Allison Faculty members as well as coachings in chamber music or art song. Practice time will be available each day, making use of the Conservatory’s excellent pianos and practice facilities. A variety of courses will be held throughout the week such as Introduction to Conducting, Aural Skills, and Music Theory. Evening recreational events will include outdoor activities, movies, and faculty recitals. The week will conclude with a public student recital.
