Mount Allison boasts one of the loveliest campuses in Canada and that is in no small part due to the efforts of facilities management.

The department takes care of Mount Allison’s buildings, campus infrastructure, and grounds.

Facilities management staff not only work closely with the university community to carry out repairs and construction as needed — they keep the buildings clean, the lights on, the water flowing, the heat running, the snow plowed, and the walkways salted.

Each year the department’s grounds staff cares for the hundreds of trees and shrubs, acres of grass, and thousands of flowers that cover campus, and keeps the University’s four playing fields in perfect condition.

Facilities management's security personnel maintain a vigilant eye on campus.
