Course registration deadlines

April 11-20, 2024	Final exam period
May 6, 2024	Spring/Summer term classes begin
May 10, 2024	Last day for registration in spring/summer term courses (except for UNST 2991 which has a registration deadline of May 5)
May 14-17, 2024	Registration for 24/FW opens for returning students
May 31, 2024	End of academic withdrawal period for: 3-credit spring term courses running 7-weeks (except for UNST 2991 which has a withdrawal deadline of May 6) Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class by this deadline
June 3, 2024	Registration for 24/FW opens for new incoming students
June 28, 2024	End of academic withdrawal period for: 3-credit summer term courses running May through August Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class by this deadline
August 19, 2024	A-Term begins INDG/CENL 3601: Registration deadline is August 18 and the withdrawal deadline is August 20
September 3, 2024	Fall term classes begin
September 13, 2024	Last day for registration in: 3-credit fall term courses year-long 1, 3, and 6 credit courses
October 25, 2024	End of academic withdrawal period for 3-credit fall term courses: Any student who does not withdraw from these courses by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
Nov. 11-15, 2024	Fall study break - no classes
Dec. 11-20, 2024	Final exam period
January 6, 2025	Winter term classes begin
January 17, 2025	Last day for registration in: 3-credit fall term courses End of withdrawal period for: year-long 1, 3, and 6 credit courses Any student who does not withdraw by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
Feb. 17-21, 2025	Winter study break - no classes
February 28, 2025	End of academic withdrawal period for 3-credit winter term courses: Any student who does not withdraw from these courses by this date will remain registered and will receive a final grade Find out how to drop a class before this deadline
April 7-16, 2025	Final exam period
May 5, 2025	Spring/Summer term classes begin

Degree-related deadlines

Aug. 30, 2024	Deadline for October 2024 Graduation Application
Sept. 27, 2024	Deadline for May 2025 Graduation Application
Feb. 6, 2025	Deadline for returning students to apply to transfer to the BFA program for the 2025-2026 academic year
